The producer behind the hit single, "Dunce Cheque", is already working with Valiant on the next drop. What else is in his pipeline?
RK Trap, has responsible for some dancehall hits
Rk Trap Musiq (Born Armani Bygrave) in the UK, is a rising producer in the industry and the behind one of last year's biggest singles, 'Dunce Cheque' by the fast-rising dancehall star, Valiant, a tune that has been driving Jamaica crazy for the last 3 months. The riddim (which is co-produced with Diplomats Records) later became a juggling riddim and included songs by Kraff ('Calm C') and Jamal ('Mr. Myres').
'The Riddim got some exclusives but I rather keep it as a secret. I like to surprise the fans but the 'Duncer' song by valiant trending on TikTok is also produced by myself and my label, 'MusicUkRecords', would like to involve in that as well", he explained.
'Dunce Cheque', which debuted on the social platforms at the beginning of last November, has already surpassed 10.5 million views on YouTube as of now.
"The work with Valiant was so successful that the company took it forward. it was a good experience. we have created a friendship which led us to create the next hit song by the name 'Duncer' which is actually 'Dunce Cheque' part 2", the producer said.
The success of 'Dunce Cheque' has opened many doors for the producer who is located at Portmore and works closely with Skelly Don. "I got a lot of projects with artists which will be out for the fans soon", he added.
When asked what influenced him to take the production field seriously, he says: "My influence is my father for starters as he produced 'Polo' by Takeova and Hotfrass and a lot more. Secondly DJ Khaled and Rvssian. I'm trying to reach that level in the field of the music industry".
