Dancehall star Chronic Law is about to drop what appears to be his first major international collaboration, joining forces with Moroccan-American rapper French Montana for the official remix of his hit single “NY Girls.”

The remix is expected to arrive soon, with the music video reportedly shot in the U.S. earlier this week and clips already circulating across social media.

The original track, produced by CJtheChemist and released on May 9, has surpassed 12.5 million YouTube views, becoming a certified dancehall party hit that continues to energize dance floors and run wild across TikTok.

The Jamaican-born, U.S.-based producer has since expanded the song into a full jugglin’ project featuring multiple new releases, including Valiant’s “All Ova,” Armanii’s “Link Up,” Ajji’s “Skin to Skin,” and Najeeriii’s “Finances.”

The St. Thomas-born deejay also has another major collaboration in the pipeline, this time with Brooklyn rapper Sheff G, which is also produced by CJtheChemist and set for release soon.

For French Montana, this isn’t his first dancehall crossover, most recently he teamed up with Masicka on the remix of “Whites,” previously he collaborated with Popcaan on “MURDA” in 2020, and his most renowned genre-blending collab remains “Hurtin’ Me” with British-Jamaican rapper Stefflon Don.
