Vybz Kartel’s epic Worl’ Boss Tour sweeps across the globe
Vybz Kartel’s epic return continues to make waves across the globe, with each show further solidifying his undeniable legacy as the King of Dancehall.
His 2025 run is already one for the history books, unlike anything seen from a Jamaican artist in decades, arguably unmatched since the legendary Bob Marley. With demand surging worldwide, Kartel’s return is redefining what it means to “covering the globe like Google.”

With his latest sold-out performance at the 14,000-capacity CFG Bank Arena in Baltimore, marking his sixth consecutive sold-out show in the U.S. alone.
Since launching his historic Worl’ Boss Tour under the banner “Return of the Worl’ Boss,” Kartel has shattered records at every stop. He became the first dancehall artist to sell out Brooklyn’s Barclays Center twice, and has filled major U.S. venues including Florida’s Amerant Bank Arena, Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, and Atlanta’s State Farm Arena—with most dates produced by CJ Milan, mastermind behind the Reggae Fest Tour brand.
Kartel’s international pull is equally unmatched. He sold out Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome and Paris’s Accor Arena, becoming the first dancehall artist in history to headline and sell out both iconic venues. He also headlined Summerjam Festival in Germany, and was a key figure at Wireless Festival in London, sharing the main stage in historic night for dancehall led by Canadian global giant Drake.
What’s Next?
The dancehall phenomenon is set to headline two back-to-back nights at London’s prestigious O2 Arena on September 4–5, making him the first-ever dancehall artist to sell out the massive venue. The Worl’ Boss Tour will also make stops at Manchester’s Co-op Live and Birmingham’s BP Pulse Live later in September. From there, the tour heads to Malta (September 11–14), where Kartel will bring his Freedom Streets showcase to Europe for the very first time. The Malta leg features two unique setlists across two nights, alongside a star-studded lineup of elite dancehall artists.
But that’s only part of the story. The Worl’ Boss shows no signs of slowing down. Rumors are swirling of a third Barclays Center show on Friday, August 29, during Labor Day weekend.

The pull power is unmatched by any other dancehall artist
He’s also confirmed to perform at the Dominica World Creole Music Festival in October—and yet, two major markets remain untouched on this global tour: Canada and Africa, both buzzing with anticipation.
A closer look at Kartel’s New Vybz Kartel Merch collection shows Toronto listed among the tour cities—possibly hinting at a major return to The 6ix. With his deep-rooted connection to Drake, and their powerful reunion at Wireless, another historic Canadian appearance may be on the horizon—potentially even with Popcaan in tow.
Meanwhile, Africa is more than ready for the Worl’ Boss. Fans in Ghana, Uganda, Kenya, and other countries have been vocal in their demand. Multiple reports suggest that discussions are underway, including a massive event at Accra Sports Stadium, rumored to feature local dancehall star Shatta Wale. While not yet confirmed, inside sources say Kartel could close out this incredible run with a series of African shows in December.
At this point, one thing is clear—Vybz Kartel’s brand moves like a drone, covering the globe with unimaginable pull and power.
