Stellar lineup at Aidonia's birthday party
In December 2022 Aidonia said goodbye to his only son Khalif due to a prolonged illness. As he touches the road this year, he’s not only giving you more than your money’s worth but also fulfilling a commitment to Khalif who he says made him a man.
The veteran Deejay will host his birthday party event, upcoming Saturday, April 8th. The event has outgrown its Margaritaville venue and moves to Turtle Beach this year. This means more room and even more artists while the lineup including top acts such as dancehall front-runners Skeng, Teejay, Kraff, Govana, together with 450, Quada and IWaata. female artistes such as Shaneil Muir and Marcy Chin are also featuring in the lineup.
Sheldon Lawrence more popularly as Aidonia says, "Ochi Ah Mi Place Rasta. matta a fact de whole St. Ann ah mi place yeah man. and dem cork de venue every year since 2014 – and we appreciate dat".
"The party has always been high energy. You see the artiste line-up is hitmakers, bringing high-energy entertainment, party music and fun yuh see it! Suh come out come enjoy unoself," added the artiste managers, Solid Agency Company.
The deejay released the single 'Faith' earlier in January, the first song in almost a year. The track was produced by Banga House MG and Darshan Records. Aidonia delivered from his soul on that one - "Faith move mountains, Every blessing count them, Closed doors open, word power positive words were spoken/ Use faith, move mountains."
Subsequently, a more focused and driven artiste, expressive from a unique perspective, the dancehall singer-songwriter has been on a roll, dropping tracks 'Earthquake' (together with his longtime protege, Govana) and 'Frsh Drop' this year also. Aidonia is putting the finishing touches to his EP scheduled for a pre-summer release.
