What started as a humble beginning, continues to gain international recognition, as dancehall star Skillibeng features on Guyanese pop princess Jourdin Pauline's new mixtape titled 'Naked'.
Both artistes team up for a song titled 'Rockstar' as Jourdin brings her majesty and dynamic voice that blends with her fashion sense, while Skilliebng showcases what has made him so popular among the global music industry, by displaying his unique rap style flow. The single is accompanied by a music video scheduled to be released on September 6.
For the 26-year-old St. Thomas deejay, this is just another collaboration, after he was recently featured on American rapper Coi Leray's 'Coi' album with the collaboration called 'Radioactive'.
Jourdin Pauline, affectionately referred to as the Guyanese Pop Princess is originally from Georgetown Guyana and currently residing in Los Angeles. spent the first six years of her life in Guyana before moving to the rough Crenshaw neighborhood of Los Angeles with her mother and sisters.
"I’m a trap pop artist who’s Guyanese,” she explains. “I love 808 rhythms, but my vocal capability is pop. My heritage also comes out in my music. I represent my culture, I represent pop, and I represent trap, because I’m bringing them all together in what I do.”
