Seaview Gardens’ upcoming producers, Hash Don Records and James Noble Records, enlist trending St. James dancehall artiste Teebone to deliver their debut single, “African Powers.”
“Teebone has a solid run right now, so we felt he was the perfect fit for the beat. Let’s tap into that trending energy,” the producers shared.
Teebone, whose real name is Leighton Gooden, hails from Cornwall Courts in Montego Bay and has been riding a strong wave in recent years. His track “Toyota Crown” has amassed over 2.5 million views on YouTube, and more recently, he teamed up with international dancehall star Popcaan for “Magical,” and collaborated with fellow St. James talent Jamal on “No Doubts.” Both singles have been gaining solid traction across social media and local airwaves.
Following African Powers, Hash Don Records and James Noble Records are gearing up to release the full PPV Riddim, featuring a lineup of emerging talents including Jquan, Rani Rastaciti, and Seaview Gardens’ own Kant10t.
