Popeye Caution lights up Cayman with “Gorgeous”


Miami-based dancehall artiste Popeye Caution is gaining momentum with his latest single, "Gorgeous," as he celebrates his birthday in the Cayman Islands, headlining one of the island’s biggest festivals alongside rapper Ludacris, Shenseea, Cayman Islands/Miami-based group The Iz, and more.


He debuted the buzzing single on stage for the first time, captivating the crowd with high energy and loud cheers—especially from the ladies. “This is going to be a summer banger, especially for the ladies,” he shared. “It was a great weekend, a great experience, and the perfect way to celebrate my birthday.”


Following the performance, “Gorgeous” recorded a massive spike in Shazam searches, signaling strong public interest.



“Gorgeous” previously climbed to #9 on the iTunes Reggae Chart, earning strong feedback and fueling Popeye Caution’s drive for more. “We nuh rush things, but I know that it's my time,” he shared.


Following his visit to Jamaica and a performance at Ding Dong’s album launch, the track received major co-signs from dancehall powerhouse Ding Dong and legendary deejay Bounty Killer, both showing support for the buzzing single.
