United States based dancehall/reggae artiste Iesha Nova is quite upbeat about the success of her latest single “BallanDOR,” which has taken off on FM radio.

Featured on the infectious Blue Comet riddim and produced by DJ RoH, BallanDOR follows Nova’s previous release Goodie Anthem, and is already shaping up to be a breakout hit.

“I was just in the studio vibing to the Blue Comet riddim, and it dawned on me that I needed a summer track for my female fans and listeners. BallanDOR is the result of that moment,” shared Iesha Nova, who is of Jamaican heritage.

The rising buzz surrounding the track has even caught her by surprise. “The last time I got this kind of reaction was for Goodie Anthem, but BallanDOR is different. The media has really shown love, it's proving to be hit-worthy,” she added.

According to Nova, the song’s early success is driven by its relatable lyrics and captivating energy. “It’s the lyrics, the flow, and of course the music video—everything about it is catchy. It’s getting spins on all the major stations in Jamaica, running at weekly dancehall events, and blazing in the streets. The feedback has been crazy. I truly believe this is the song that will get me the attention.”

On collaborating with producer DJ RoH, Nova had high praise: “It’s always a pleasure working with DJ RoH. Just the environment, his dedication and professionalism will have anyone pleading to work with him, whether it's a single or a project,” Iesha Nova stated.
