Dancehall artiste Chronic Law is set to release a new seven-track EP titled I.C.E (Inside Cold & Empty) on April 24, drawing directly from his recent experience in U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) custody, where he spent over two months.

The St. Thomas native channels that period into music, working alongside acclaimed producer Notnice Records and his manager Alexandere "Bashy 1Law" Jones. In recent weeks, he has been teasing the project across social media, including visuals of himself dressed in jail attire - offering a glimpse into the EP’s raw and introspective direction.

Widely regarded as one of the most consistent voices in dancehall, Law Boss uses the project to reflect on themes of isolation, betrayal, endurance, and spiritual grounding. Known for his sharp lyrical ability, and used his time in detention to write extensively, turning adversity into creative fuel.

Chronic Law was released without charge on March 26, and received strong support from dancehall fraternity throughout his detention and following his release.
