Bunny Shaw Named PFA Women’s Players’ Player of the Year for Second Time

Reggae Girlz superstar Khadija “Bunny” Shaw has been named the 2025/26 PFA Women’s Players’ Player of the Year, adding another prestigious individual honour to her growing collection.

Voted for by her fellow professionals, the Jamaican striker played a key role in Manchester City’s historic season, scoring 27 goals in 32 appearances across all competitions. Shaw netted 21 goals in the WSL, becoming the first player in the competition’s history to win the Golden Boot in three consecutive seasons.

Her award comes after City captured their second WSL title, ending Chelsea’s six-season reign as champions, while also lifting the FA Cup for the fourth time.

It marks the second time Shaw has received the PFA Women’s Players’ Player of the Year award, having previously claimed the honour in 2023/24 after also scoring 21 league goals that season.
