Dancehall legend Bounty Killer is marking another milestone this year, as he is set to return to Toronto on August 23 to headline the Oasis Music Festival, his first performance in the 6ix in 20 years.

The concert, dubbed “The Warlord Returns,” will feature longtime collaborator Cham, fellow dancehall heavyweight Dexta Daps, and Grenadian soca powerhouse Mr. Killa, with additional guest artists to be announced.

The last time all three, Bounty, Cham, and fellow Seaview Gardens native Dexta—shared the stage was in 2023 during Dexta’s Trilogy Tour stop in Kingston, Jamaica. That same year, Bounty Killer and Cham also released their collaborative EP Time Bomb, which included the trio's joint track, “Slow Motion.”

The event is being brought to life by Patrick Shirley of Chystar Promotion and BMW Promo, led by Canadian promoter Chris Jey.

It follows Bounty Killer’s epic, sold-out return to the U.S. stage earlier this month at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center. That landmark concert, which featured a star-studded lineup including Mavado, Aidonia, Dexta Daps, Elephant Man, and more, was curated by trailblazing promoter CJ Milan—also the driving force behind the Reggae Fest Tour and Vybz Kartel’s historic U.S. return series.

Bounty Killer is enjoying a monumental year, having had his U.S. visa reinstated after a 15-year hiatus. In addition to his triumphant live performances, he is set to receive a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 3rd annual Caribbean Music Awards at Kings Theatre in Brooklyn on August 28—further cementing his legacy as one of dancehall’s most enduring icons.
