Dancehall star Alkaline announces his second major show in the U.S. this year, taking his flagship New Rules brand under CJ Milan’s Reggae Fest to the Kaseya Center in Miami, slated for May 22.

The 19,600-capacity venue, which is the home court of the NBA’s Miami Heat, marks another significant stage in the deejay’s expanding global run.

Alkaline recently sold out his first-ever headline show at the iconic Barclays Center, becoming the youngest dancehall artiste to achieve the milestone. His trajectory continues to extend beyond Jamaica, reaching audiences across international markets and the diaspora.

The “Man Himself,” as he is popularly known, has capitalized on the momentum with his third studio album NPT, his first since 2021, which continues to make an impact across the charts.

The 16-track project previously made an immediate impact locally, occupying multiple spots on the Apple Music Jamaica chart. Now, “Gyal Good” currently tops both the Apple Music chart and the Apple Music Top 25 playlist, emerging as one of the biggest tracks on the streets.

Across his career, Alkaline has established himself as a dominant force in dancehall, with a catalogue that reflects key stages of his evolution. From his breakout debut New Level Unlocked, he has built his own flagship festival, New Rules, which has staged events across the U.S., UK, Canada, and more, before returning to Jamaica last year after a five-year break.

Now teaming up with CJ Milan, a leading U.S. promoter behind Reggae Fest, the partnership continues a track record of staging major shows featuring top Jamaican acts, with many events selling out in recent years.
