Reggae singer Alaine has released her latest single, “Yes I,” a personal expression of faith and gratitude to the Most High.
“Yes I” was produced by acclaimed producer Seanizzle and Sasha Benjamin for the Seanizzle Records imprint and distributed by ONErpm.
Released on Friday, September 11, the song takes the form of an intimate conversation with God, reflecting on His protection, guidance and ability to make a way even through difficult moments.
Inspired by Psalm 143:10, “Yes I” reflects on the realities of faith—the prayers whispered during challenging times, the protection we seek, the grace experienced along the journey and the gratitude that can sometimes be forgotten when life becomes overwhelming. Alaine delivers the record with the warmth and sincerity that have long defined her music, offering an honest acknowledgement of God’s goodness.
Speaking about working with Alaine on the record, Seanizzle praised the singer’s distinctive vocals. “She’s a wonderful singer, and her voice, you know, is unique,” he said.
The release follows another recent Seanizzle production, “Give Thanks,” by Future Fambo and rising talent Sheenwrks, which has received a positive response in the streets since its release.
