Trinidadian soca star Yung Bredda’s viral hit “The Greatest Bend Over (Take It Easy)” just got even bigger with a new cross-genre remix, perfectly timed for the UK Carnival season.
Set to drop this Friday, August 15, the explosive remix features Grammy-nominated American R&B singer-producer Chlöe Bailey and “Shake It To The Max” sensation Moliy, who inject fresh energy into the already infectious fusion of soca and afrobeats, further amplifying its momentum ahead of Notting Hill Carnival.
Chlöe and Moliy add sultry new verses over the pulsating Big Links riddim, complemented by a vibrant, carnival-themed music video that captures the energy and spirit of Caribbean celebrations across the diaspora—including footage from St. Lucia Carnival, which Chlöe attended in July.
Since its original release, “The Greatest Bend Over” has amassed over 44 million streams across platforms, topped Apple Music’s Trinidad & Tobago chart, and maintained a Top 5 spot on the UK Soca Chart. A previous remix featuring international dancehall icon Sean Paul already elevated the song’s global appeal.
With spins on BBC 1Xtra, Capital Xtra, and a coveted spot on Spotify’s ‘Who We Be’ playlist, Yung Bredda’s hit has become more than just a soca anthem, it’s the definitive soundtrack of the carnival season.
