Dancehall-fusion artiste Xyclone returns with his new 12-track album, I AM XYCLONE, released Friday, August 21, via ONErpm.
The project features collaborations with I-Octane on “Still Survive” and veteran dancehall deejay Spragga Benz on “Lah Lah Lah,” along with Xyclone’s current street favorite, “The Letter P,” featured on the Arawak Chant Riddim.
Across the 12 tracks, Xyclone explores a range of sounds, blending dancehall with Afrobeats and other African influences as he looks to broaden his international reach. “We’re trying to lock into the Grammys. I’ve never really been into it, but we tried something different with this project. I believe this sound can captivate global audiences,” he shared.
Xyclone, whose given name is Roje Robinson, previously found chart success with The Sounds of Gambia, which debuted at No. 5 on the U.S. iTunes Top 100 Reggae Albums chart and also earned a presence on the Billboard charts.
Based in Maryland, Xyclone has released more than seven albums throughout his career, with previous projects including Nostalgia from 2025 and The Sounds of Gambia from 2024.
