Global dancehall icon Vybz Kartel continues to expand his entrepreneurial reach, particularly in the U.S., by taking his music label, Adidjaheim Records, stateside.

The “Comet” deejay shared photos of the new U.S. office on Instagram, signaling a bold new chapter in his business journey, which already includes the launch of Str8Vybz Rum across the Caribbean and FireVybz Hot Grabba.

Kartel established Adidjaheim/Notnice Records in 2006 with business partner and music producer Ainsley “NotNice” Morris. The label skyrocketed to fame during the heyday of the Portmore Empire era, launching the careers of some of dancehall’s most notable names, including Popcaan, Tommy Lee Sparta, Jah Vinci, and Blak Ryno.

Among the label’s standout releases are Kartel’s 2015 album Viking (Vybz Is King), 2016’s King of the Dancehall, the Grammy-nominated Party With Me, and Viking 10th Anniversary Deluxe. Hit singles like “Dollar Sign,”Dancehall,” and the chart-topping “Fever”, produced by TJ Records with a beat composed by Dunwell, were also released under Adidjaheim Records.

This move adds to Kartel’s string of strategic business ventures, reinforcing his impact beyond the music with a sharp entrepreneurial mind, especially in the post-prison era.
