Dancehall phenomenon Vybz Kartel once again proves his lyrical genius as he teams up with his son Likkle Vybz for their new collaboration, “Mi Bredda.”

The single, released last Friday, also marks the first collaboration between recording g producer Tj Torry and the Worl’ Boss. Kartel, showcasing his signature mastery, asserts his dominance with a combative delivery and clever wordplay. “A me son but we roll like a me bredda dat,” he declares - a message signaling that while Likkle Vybz is his son, he carries himself with a maturity that earns brother-level respect.

Kartel continues to unleash unimaginable punchlines throughout the track. “Nuh have no rotten teeth, nut every minute is another plaque. Gold deh so, silver deh so, handle thing dem sell a rock,” he spits, throwing shade at enemies and doubters before diving deeper into the biblical story of Cain and Abel.

For Torry, recording with the dancehall icon was an experience beyond anything he imagined. “It was a crazy experience. Kartel’s recording took minutes - the man thinks different. I don’t even have the words to explain how extremely talented he is,” he said.

“Working with him, I feel really blessed and honored. To be a young youth getting the chance to work with the greatest dancehall artiste… it’s a feeling I can’t even fully describe,” Torry added.

Florida-based rising talent Torry, who is the older brother of dancehall artiste 9ine, has been working closely with Likkle Vybz in recent months — and now adds a massive record to his résumé.
