Dancehall living legend Vybz Kartel has taken to social media to share a photo of his UK Silver Certification Plaque for his hit song, 'Fever'. The single was certified silver in the UK on 10 February, commemorating over 200,000 units being sold. The plaque also marked Kartel's first UK certification.
In February 2020, The Summer single was certified Gold in the US via RIAA after being sold 500,000 units. The 'World Boss' also shared the receiving of his Gold plaque on his social media platforms.
'Fever', which was produced by TJ Records, was released by the incarcerated deejay in June 2016 on his King Of The Dancehall Album and topped various local music charts and became his most successful on streaming platforms.
The summer single has amassed a total of more than 130 million plays and views in different versions across YouTube.
