Dancehall Worl’ Boss Vybz Kartel continued the rollout of his Adidja Palmer Foundation in western Jamaica, delivering relief supplies to residents affected by Hurricane Melissa. He was joined by his extended team, including his manager, TJ Records, as well as MC Nuffy, ZJ Chrome, Karla of Downsound Entertainment, and others, as they visited communities along the western coasts of Westmoreland and St. James.
While in St. James, he stopped by the World Central Kitchen (WCK) operations at the Montego Bay Convention Centre, where volunteers guided him through the setup and briefed him on their ongoing efforts, which include preparing meals for thousands of hurricane victims across the north coast. The entertainer has signaled his intention to continue supporting WCK to help sustain their nationwide relief efforts.

In recent interviews discussing his donations and plans, the deejay noted that he made a “substantial amount” in contributions to ensure families received essential items such as rice, Lasco, and pampers for both children and the elderly. Some sources estimate the dancehall phenomenon’s total donation to be between JMD $30–35 million (over USD $180,000); however, this figure has not been officially confirmed.
Kartel’s visit to the island is expected to be brief, as he is set to leave over the weekend. His primary goal, however, was to show support for the people of Jamaica, particularly those most affected during this challenging period, and he indicated that he intends to continue his relief efforts.
Meanwhile, he has teamed up with Drake’s OVO label to release the limited-edition “Jamaica OG Hoodie.” From November 6 to November 13, 2025, US$100 from each sale will be donated to the Rockhouse Foundation in support of Hurricane Melissa relief efforts in Jamaica.
