Canadian-Jamaican producer duo Gold Up are gearing up for the release of their new juggling, Honey Comb Riddim, with the rollout led by “Let Me Go” from dancehall star Valiant.
The riddim is also expected to feature several other intriguing names. “We’ve known Valiant from before the world caught on, and working with him was always something we wanted to make happen. When we finished this riddim, he was the very first artist we sent it to - and instantly he said, ‘That’s the one,’” shared Raph, one half of the duo.
The project also marks their first collaboration with Valiant. “We’re grateful to have Valiant on this project. Working with him was also a learning experience. He’s sharp, focused, and knows exactly what he’s doing. With the vision he has and the strong team around him, it’s no surprise to see where he is in his career right now.”
The dynamic duo behind Gold Up Productions, led by founder and CEO Raph (from France) alongside Zack Ariyah (from Canada), are renowned for their collaborations with numerous dancehall luminaries, including Bounty Killer, Busy Signal, LaaLee, Jada Kingdom, and Kaka Highflames, among others.
