Valiant continues global rise

Marking a defining milestone for the new generation of dancehall, Jamaican superstar Valiant officially wrapped his highly anticipated North American tour last night with a high-energy, sold-out performance at New York City’s Terminal 5 in front of 3,000 excited fans, mostly women.

The February 15 finale served as the crowning moment of the Passenger Princess Deluxe Valentine’s Edition, following packed venues in Montreal and Rebel in Toronto on Saturday, reflecting his unstoppable growth. “That’s me work for years. I just stay grounded with the aim to conquer,” shared the singjay, who also visited Sony Music Studios in New York.

The journey began in October 2025 with the Prove Them Wrong: Passenger Princess Edition, a 21-city North American run that saw Valiant shatter expectations across the continent. Sold-out shows in Los Angeles and Brooklyn in November marked historic moments for a new-generation dancehall artiste, setting the stage for an even bigger return to New York this February.

Due to overwhelming demand, Valiant returned with the Passenger Princess Deluxe Valentine’s Edition, stopping in Montreal and Toronto before closing in Manhattan. “The energy in New York is unmatched,” a tour representative shared. “Fans aren’t just listening, they’re following the movement.” With commanding performances and strong support across markets, Valiant has proven that the new generation of dancehall isn’t coming - it’s already here.

Now, Valiant continues to push boundaries, expanding his sound with a clear aim at crossover success. Teaming up with legendary production duo Daseca, he delivers a Caribbean R&B slow burn that fuses island grit with modern alternative R&B textures.

Built on minimal drums, warm sub-bass, and atmospheric layers, the single feels both intimate and cinematic. Valiant’s raw, conversational delivery anchors the track with emotional depth, while Daseca’s smooth melodies and layered harmonies elevate it into a hypnotic, moody space.

The single adds to the Sony Music-signed artiste’s growing catalog on YouTube, where he has amassed over 586 million total views. “Dunce Cheque,” with 43 million views, leads the list, followed by “Narcissistic” featuring Stalk Ashley with 41 million, “North Carolina” (38M), “Expensive” (29M), “Passanger Princess” with 28 Million views, “Lumbah” and “Bubble Gum” with 23 million views each, “C.A.L” (22M), “Speed Off” (20M), and “Mad Out” (19M), underscoring his consistent digital impact.

With a growing fanbase across the Caribbean diaspora, his rise reflects unstoppable momentum. “That's me working for years. I just stay grounded with the aim to conquer,” expressed the singjay, who also visited Sony Music Studios in New York.
