Dancehall producer Troyton Rami of Blackshadow Music is set to release his new juggling project, Purple Touch Riddim, on Friday, May 8, featuring a lineup packed with established names and rising talents from across dancehall and reggae.

Built around a sensual and magnetic soundscape, the project captures a smooth late-night energy, blending melody, rhythm, and seductive grooves throughout the production. The riddim has already rolled out tracks including Charly Black’s “Miss Likkle,” 1Ski OG’s “Bedroom,” and a contribution from Tifa. It also features veteran acts such as Beenie Man, T.O.K, Anthony B, and Vanessa Bling, alongside talents like Banbii and more.

Speaking on the creative direction behind the project, Troyton explained that the goal was to craft a riddim that naturally pulled listeners in. “I wanted to create something that oozed sensuality - a sound that wraps around you, makes you feel drawn in, and keeps that intimate, magnetic pull throughout every track,” he shared.

The acclaimed producer also opened up about how carefully the lineup was selected. “The process was pretty simple - I wanted artists who could really DJ but also sing at the same time. That balance was important for this riddim because I wanted every track to feel smooth, catchy, and full of personality. Having artists with that versatile singjay style brought the perfect mix of melody, energy, and flavor to the project,” he said.

Among the standout voices on the project is Charly Black’s entry, which Troyton says approached the riddim with a completely different energy compared to his usual party-driven records.

“Charly Black came at this one differently for real. He didn’t just attack the beat like a typical party track - he approached the riddim smooth, confident, and full of flavor. His delivery has that late-night energy, the kind that makes women want to get closer and move to it in the club. He knew exactly how to ride the groove of the riddim without overdoing it, and that’s what gave the song that sexy, dangerous kind of pull,” Troyton Rami explained.

Looking ahead, Troyton says the release of Purple Touch Riddim marks the beginning of a bigger creative chapter in his journey as a producer, with a stronger focus on growth, evolution, and pushing boundaries sonically. “The focus is really on growth and evolution. For the next Troyton Rami juggling project, I want to push the creative side even further - not just bigger selections, but stronger concepts, smoother transitions, and a vibe that connects across different audiences,” he shared.

The Blackshadow Music producer also made it clear that he has no intention of limiting himself creatively, as he plans to continue exploring new sounds while staying rooted in dancehall’s core energy. “I don’t want to stay boxed into one lane. I’m interested in blending dancehall with different influences, elements, and even experimental sounds to create something fresh while still keeping the core energy people know me for. The next phase is all about elevation,” the producer concluded.
