Dancehall artiste, Tommy Lee Sparta is free person again. The Montego-Bay native artiste has been released from prison, after serving his time in prison for the last 2 years.


In March 2021, Tommy Lee Sparta whose real name is Leroy Russell, was sentenced to three years for possession of an illegal gun and two years for possession of illegal ammunition.


While in prison, The former member of the "Gaza Empire", wasn't prevented from releasing several hit songs in recent years.



The biggest hit among the list is his collaboration with the dancehall star Skeng, 'Protocol' which has surpassed 50 million views on YouTube. both of them tried to duplicate this success by releasing the single, 'Protocol Pt. 2', although it was not recorded as the same success story, but garnered 5.7 million views as well.


The 35-year-old artist also didn't skip another dancehall front-runner while teamed up with Valiant for 'Guzu Bunx (Fada Rock), which became a viral hit on the social platform, TikTok and also racked up to 4.7 million views as of this time.



Sparta also joined forces with his hometown female dancehall star, Moyann, for the track, 'Middle', a sexy badman song that was produced by Dj Frass and released 3 months ago.


In years before he began serving his prison sentence, Tommy Lee Sparta recorded success with hits such as 'Rich Badness', 'Under Vibes', and 'Blessings' while he was a part of successful collaborations like 'Unda Dirt' along Popcaan & Masicka, 'Power Struggle' (Featuring his hometown boy, Teejay), 'Bin Laden' (with Skillibeng) and 'Bad Gyal' feat. Vybz Kartel, Skillibeng and Jucee Froot.




The Psycho deejay recently created some waves with his latest release, 'Meds Messed Up', on the "Forgiven Riddim" by the producer Sponge Music.
