2017 Magnum Queen of Dancehall winner and recording artiste Suspense teams up with Abstract Production and Badbird-Realascanb Entertainment for her latest single, “Baddies Prayer,” delivering a bold concept with a fresh edge.
Released on April 22, the track highlights Suspense’s versatility as a triple threat - blending sharp lyricism, standout dance skills, and a growing presence in acting.
On the song, she blends acting with deejaying to portray a character - a woman who toys with her man behind bars while being drawn to a richer partner.
Suspense, whose given name is Shaneika Morrison, continues to build momentum, with increasing booking demand and a growing catalogue. Her recent collaboration with Nhance, “Too Bad,” featured on the WYFL riddim by DJ Mac and Crash Dummy, has already surpassed 3.5 million views to date.
“I never hid my talent for long, but this year I really want to build,” she shared. “I’m going to use every opportunity to strengthen my résumé and take things to the next level.”
