Kranium Reaches 900 Million Spotify Streams Ahead of New York Headline Show

The Jamaican dancehall artiste marks another major digital milestone after officially surpassing 900 million Spotify streams, led by crossover hits including “Nobody Has to Know,” “We Can” and more

Kranium crosses 900 million streams on Spotify

For more than a decade, Jamaican dancehall artiste Kranium has built a reputation as one of the genre’s most relatable storytellers, turning everyday experiences into records that resonate far beyond the Caribbean -and the numbers continue to reflect his global reach.

The dancehall hitmaker has officially surpassed 900 million Spotify streams across his catalogue, spanning more than 80 tracks.

Kranium’s crossover collaborations account for several of his biggest streaming records. Leading the way is his appearance on Major Lazer and MOTi’s “Boom” remix alongside Ty Dolla $ign and Wizkid, with more than 181 million streams. His 2013 breakout hit “Nobody Has to Know” has surpassed 93 million streams, while Major Lazer’s remix of “Shape of You” featuring Nyla has accumulated more than 83 million.

“We Can” featuring Tory Lanez, which earned Kranium his second RIAA Gold certification in June after surpassing 500,000 certified units in the U.S., has amassed more than 69 million Spotify streams. “Can’t Believe” featuring Ty Dolla $ign and Wizkid follows with over 68 million, while “Gal Policy,” which recently earned a BRIT Certified Silver award, has surpassed 67 million.

The Spotify milestone follows another major digital achievement for Kranium, who recently surpassed one million subscribers on his official YouTube channel.

Kranium is also set to return to his home ground in New York City for a headline concert at Sony Hall on Sunday, October 18. Rising dancehall artistes Kkrytical and Mugs, both from the New York area, will join him on the lineup.
