Released on September 4, 2026, “Boom” was produced by Real Shellaz Muzik, with the beat crafted by Vital Beats. The track reportedly reached No. 1 on the iTunes Reggae Music Videos chart, No. 5 on the iTunes Reggae Songs chart and No. 18 on the Billboard 200, while its official music video has surpassed 100,000 views.
“I'm grateful for the reception the song has been getting, especially seeing it appearing on the charts and reaching listeners outside Jamaica. Big respect to Silk Boss for coming on the track and bringing his energy and creativity. It motivates me to push even harder,” StylaForLife shared.
The collaboration was brought together by producer Real Shellaz Muzik, also known as Lando Shella or Worldclass Shella, who saw potential in pairing the two artistes. The result was an energetic, female-focused Dancehall track showcasing their distinctive styles.
“Working with StylaForLife and Silk Boss was a great experience. Both artistes were professional, creative and easy to work with in the studio. The chemistry was natural, and each brought something different to the production. We knew we had a strong record, but seeing the response locally and internationally, particularly the chart placements, has been very encouraging. It's a testament to the talent of both artistes and the work the entire team has invested in the project,” said Real Shellaz Muzik.
The track has also received support from Jamaican radio stations and selectors, including DJ Collision, DJ Bryan of IRIE FM, Wicked Foot of SunCity Radio, Neeko Fire, DJ Skinny, DJ Ruxie and DJ Tom.
