After days of speculation, the Hip-Hop mogul is officially set to take center stage at SoFi Stadium on February 14, following seven years of helping shape the NFL’s biggest musical spectacle through Roc Nation

Hip-Hop icon and music mogul Jay-Z will headline the Super Bowl halftime show on February 14, 2027, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, following days of widespread speculation that has now been officially confirmed.

The announcement was made Monday night by the NFL, Apple Music and Roc Nation, confirming that the Brooklyn-born rapper will take center stage after spending seven years behind the scenes helping shape the league’s halftime entertainment.

The highly anticipated performance follows Jay-Z’s sold-out tour celebrating the 30th anniversary of his groundbreaking 1996 debut album, Reasonable Doubt, which included major concerts across the United States and Europe.

“From ‘Reasonable Doubt’ to standing on the Super Bowl halftime stage, this has been a journey,” Jay-Z said in a statement. “Thirty years of music, work, and culture on the world’s biggest stage. This run continues to be a dream come true.”

The announcement comes just days after Jay-Z wrapped up his anniversary celebrations at SoFi Stadium, where he welcomed several high-profile guests, including Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Too $hort, John Legend, Scarface and DJ Khaled. His daughter, Blue Ivy, also joined him on piano for performances of “The Story of O.J.” and “Dead Presidents.”

Earlier stops on the tour featured appearances from Beyoncé, Rihanna, Eminem and Nas, including three sold-out concerts at Yankee Stadium and performances in London and Paris.

Since 2019, Jay-Z’s Roc Nation has partnered with the NFL to oversee and advise on major entertainment productions, including the Super Bowl halftime show. Despite previously expressing little interest in performing himself, the Hip-Hop legend will now step into the spotlight at one of the world's biggest sporting events.

Beyond his musical achievements, Jay-Z has established himself as one of Hip-Hop’s most influential entrepreneurs, having co-founded Roc-A-Fella Records and launched Roc Nation in 2008, expanding his influence across music, sports and entertainment.
