Sterling receiving the Player of the Match Award

Raheem Sterling delivered his best performance in an Arsenal shirt, helping his side secure a spot in the Champions League quarter-finals by setting up both goals in a 2-2 draw against PSV Eindhoven at the Emirates.

Sterling provided two assists in the first half, setting up Declan Rice and Oleksandr Zinchenko, which helped the Gunners advance to the quarter-finals, where they will face reigning Champions League holders, Real Madrid, in a two-legged tie.

With these assists, the Jamaican-born English forward became the first player to register goal contributions for four different clubs in Champions League history.

Sterling also moved up to fourth place for the most combined goals and assists by an English player in the competition, reaching 46—just one behind Wayne Rooney. David Beckham tops the list with 52.

The performance earned Sterling the Player of the Match award. "I still believe within myself that I’ve still got a lot to play here," he said after receiving it.
