Skillibeng’s international breakout hit “Crocodile Teeth” has officially crossed the 50 million Spotify streams milestone, extending its lead as the dancehall star’s most-streamed solo single on the platform.

Released on September 21, 2020, the track - built on a plaintive piano riff produced by Swedish hitmaker Andreas Nilsson and Johnny Wonder, quickly became a global crossover moment. It was certified Silver in the United Kingdom on September 15, 2023, after surpassing 200,000 units in sales and streams, according to the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) and The Official Charts Company.

“Crocodile Teeth” captured the attention of major stars including Burna Boy and Rihanna, and later received a high-profile remix from Nicki Minaj. That version appeared on Minaj’s Beam Me Up Scotty re-release and debuted at No. 100 on the Billboard Hot 100 following its May 14, 2021 drop. The original also entered the UK Singles Chart, spending one week at No. 74 during the remix’s breakout.

The official music video has surpassed 69 million YouTube views, further cementing the song’s impact.

In October, Skillibeng crossed the 1 billion total Spotify streams milestone across his catalog, boosted by massive international features such as “Shake It To The Max (Fly)” with Moliy and Shenseea, and “Jump” alongside Tyla and Gunna, which helped push him to over 15 million monthly listeners.
