Skillibeng Joins the 1 Billion Spotify Streams Club, Boosted by Smashing Global Hits

The dancehall star reaches a significant milestone, led by massive global hits like “Shake It To The Max” and “Jump,” as he’s set to headline London’s City Splash Indoor Edition this Saturday

Dancehall star Skillibeng has marked a major milestone in his career, officially surpassing 1 billion total streams on Spotify.

The achievement is led by two global smashing hits “Shake It To The Max” featuring Moliy and Shenseea, and “Jump”, his feature on Tyla's single and Gunna, both of which dominate the EastSyde deejay’s streaming numbers.

“Shake It To The Max” has amassed over 326 million streams to date, while “Jump” follows closely with 277 million on the same platform.

As of October 20, his international breakout hit “Crocodile Teeth” nears the 50 million mark, currently standing at over 49 million streams. Known for his global appeal and demand for collaborations, Skillibeng’s “Blessing Me” featuring British rapper Pa Salieu has garnered over 25.5 million, while the Nicki Minaj remix of “Crocodile Teeth” adds another 20 million to his catalog.

His local breakout single “Brik Pan Brik” from 2019 continues to perform strongly with over 16.7 million streams, while his current hit “New Gears” featuring Vybz Kartel has already surpassed 563,000 streams, ranking among his top 200 streaming songs.

On average, 1 billion Spotify streams generate approximately $2.8 million to $4 million USD in revenue before deductions for labels, distributors, and collaborators.

With over 15 million monthly listeners, Skillibeng’s numbers and global exposure continue to rise steadily. Building on this momentum and with three Grammy nominations to his name, the deejay is set to headline City Splash’s indoor edition at London’s Drumsheds on Saturday, October 25.
