Dancehall superstar, Skillibeng is continuously building his reputation in the international music space. The Eastsyde artiste has now announced another monumental achievement, as according to a post on his Instagram account, he is about to join the international superstar rapper, Drake for his shows in Chicago on July 5-6, to commence his ‘IAAB’ (It's All A Blur) tour across the US.
The IAAB is an all-American tour that spreads over 3 months across the eastern and northern coasts. Other artistes are expected to join the Canadian superstar during his tour including the rapper, 21 Savage; with the Jamaican deejay expected to be added on even more dates.
Subsequently, this is not the first time, both artistes have shared the stage, as last year, Skillibeng (given name Emwah Warmington) made a surprise guest appearance at the rapper's 36th birthday celebration which was held in Miami, that sent shockwaves throughout the social platforms, especially among the Jamaican diaspora worldwide.
Last February, Skillibeng was supposed to join R&B star-labelmate Chris Brown on his 'Under The Influence’ Tour but was surprisingly withdrawn from it. In a surprising announcement via his Instagram page, Skillibeng stated - “It is with a heavy heart that Skillibeng/Eastsyde Records would like to announce to fans his withdrawal from the ‘Under Influence Tour': Europe, We were looking forward to being on the road with our brother, Chris Brown and doing what we both do best which is entertaining our fans. Due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, we could not make the Europe leg of the tour happen. We look forward to being on the road again”, the caption on his page read.
The ‘Crocodile Teeth’ deejay signed to the major American label, RCA Records last year, imminently crossing over into the US Market. Recently the 26-year-old artiste featured on the rising female rapper, Coi Leray's new album, joining forces for the single 'Radioactive'.
