Dancehall artiste Silk Boss speaks on his battle with mental health in heartfelt new single ‘Vent,’ while promising more music

"More while me feel like give up, but me still try, Me still fight all when me a bleed pon the inside," Dancehall artist Silk Boss delves into his battle with mental health on his new single "Vent," produced by Rockit Muzik. The emotionally charged track is filled with feelings of sadness and anger, as Silk Boss reflects on his struggles with self-esteem, relationships, and personal loss.
In "Vent," he opens up about moments of wanting to give up, while also sharing how he copes with life's challenges, drawing strength from his faith in a higher power during these tough times.

“Mi a talk for the people that nuh have the mind to talk for themself. I’m an established artist and I am facing mental health issues. More while mi feel like mi nuh wah deh yah so, like me nuh wah see nobody at all. I know that a lot of people out there are going through the same issues as me due to trauma and dem just nuh have the voice, they wish somebody could talk for them", the deejay shared. "So as an artist that is known for making relatable music, I feel the need to take it upon myself to talk to those persons and mi want the people dem know say mi deh yah to speak for them,” Silk Boss added.
The single "Vent" was produced by Kimval 'Yo Muzik' Foster of Rockit Music, with Zachary Isaacs as the executive producer. The recording was engineered by Gradez and mixed and mastered by Black Spyda, ensuring a high-quality and emotionally impactful sound.
Known for his melodic tracks and lyrical prowess, the deejay also hinted at more music dropping soon. Silk Boss is collaborating with Kyle Butler and his own label Dynasty Global, along with his management team, which includes Ice Queen Records and Zachary Isaacs. He is also representing the renowned Jamaican urban clothing brand, The Bridge.
