Jamaican recording artiste Sekklez continues to strengthen her foothold in dancehall with the release of her recent single, “Hair & Nails,” which is further building her momentum in the competitive scene.

“The inspiration came from experiences around me and also social media,” she said. “I’ve always been an old-soul girl, so you know Lady Saw, Tanya Stephens, and Lady G have influenced me with their creativity as women in dancehall,” Sekklez elaborated.

I’ve always been a fan of Busy Signal because I like his sound and creativity. And of course the lyricist Vybz Kartel.”
