Music producer Hundred Grand Production continues his rebuilding journey under his refreshed label, formerly Grammazone Music, by tapping veteran reggae artist Gary Minnott for a warm, roots-driven new single, “Let’s Go.”
The track carries a lovely, groovey roots reggae beat, capturing that feel-good vibration Minnott has embodied for decades.
“We just do our thing, medz with mi friend, and it just start flow naturally… mi sing some, and mi bredren say, ‘sing it again.’ It just flow from that,” Minnott shared, describing the recording process.
Rooted in upliftment, the message stays true to reggae’s core. “Everything we a do, it’s in a positive - ah so we deal with it. Straight positiveness. The video shot, man… people dem love it,” he added.
“Let’s Go” marks another step forward in Hundred Grand Production’s new chapter for Manchester-born music producer Claude “Gramma” James, known for his work with reggae veterans such as Luciano, Chuck Fenda, Turbulence, and Sizzla, along with dancehall stars like Chronic Law, Teejay, and others.
