WhoI$Nigma steps outside his comfort zone onnew EP Enigma
U.S.-based recording artiste WhoI$Nigma has released his new eight-track EP, Enigma, a deeply personal project that blends drill, dancehall, R&B, Afrobeats, trap influences, and everything in between.
The project serves as a collection of real-life experiences, with each track carrying its own unique energy while contributing to one overarching story of self-discovery and evolution.
Created in partnership with 1 Zone Productions, the EP reflects a shared commitment to pushing the boundaries of dancehall and contemporary music.
“Me and 1 Zone share a common vision in which we want to push the limits of dancehall and conventional music. This project was curated with that ideology in mind. Music is a form of art - it doesn’t always have to follow a strict rubric,” he shared.
The title Enigma was intentionally chosen to reflect both the project's concept and the artist's ever-evolving identity. “We chose the name Enigma because it represents the idea we wanted to create with this album - a well-rounded project that hits personally for each individual. An enigma, by definition, is something that is ever-changing. That represents WhoI$Nigma as an artist and as an individual. Enigma emphasizes my versatility and adaptability. Every track has a different style, flow, and topic.”
Working on the EP also challenged the artist creatively, pushing him beyond familiar territory. “Enigma has taught me a lot about myself and how to push past my comfort zone with my music,” he admitted. “At its core, my music is about self-improvement and elevation - always holding myself to the highest standards."

“Life is worth living, and Enigma tells that story from eight different perspectives.”
He further reflected on the project's message. “Honestly, I want people to live life, have fun, and be grateful. Life is worth living, and Enigma tells that story from eight different perspectives.”
Ultimately, WhoI$Nigma hopes listeners walk away inspired by both the music's diversity and its uplifting message.
