Will international dancehall supertar Popcaan finally receive his long-awaited U.S. visa? It seems another major step has been taken. Popcaan has officially signed a booking deal with Wasserman, one of the leading global talent agencies in music, sports, and entertainment.

According to Popcaan’s Unruly Entertainment Media, the new partnership will see Wasserman managing his live performance bookings, further expanding his reach and influence worldwide.

Despite this new deal, Popcaan remains fully independent, continuing to operate outside the traditional record label system.

Wasserman’s expertise in live bookings and tour strategies is expected to help Popcaan deliver even more dynamic and immersive performances to his ever-growing global fanbase, where demand for his high-energy shows and signature sound continues to rise.

Popcaan is looking to join the recent wave of dancehall icons, including Vybz Kartel, Bounty Killer, Beenie Man, Capleton, and Sizzla, who have had their U.S. visas reinstated, allowing them to perform in the lucrative American market and opening new doors for business opportunities, collaborations, and more.

At Vybz Kartel’s recent sold-out concert at the Barclays Center, he even FaceTimed Popcaan during the show, with the two performing their massive hit collaboration “Clarks.”
