The Greatness Pink & White Brunch, set for Heroes’ Monday, October 20 at Hope Gardens, is one of the main events leading the Greatness Weekend series, running from October 17–20. The brunch merges chic style with premium dining, offering an all-inclusive menu alongside music, fashion, and networking.

Both visitors and locals will get to savor a mix of cuisines -from Jamaican favorites like jerk chicken, escovitch fish, and curried goat to international and fusion dishes served with a modern twist. The experience celebrates Jamaica’s culinary heritage while embracing global influences.

Jamaica’s Tourism Minister, Hon. Edmund Bartlett, notes that food is now one of the strongest pillars of the visitor economy, accounting for over 40 percent of tourist spending. With the launch of the Jamaica Gastronomy Academy, the capital is being positioned as a hub where food, culture, and tourism meet. In this spirit, the Heroes’ Weekend celebration aligns with national efforts by placing cuisine at the heart of entertainment.

Larone Brown, CEO of Greatness Group and founder of Greatness Weekend, explained: “We wanted to create something that goes beyond the typical party. The Greatness Pink & White Brunch is where food becomes the centerpiece - a space where people can enjoy flavours from Jamaica and abroad while celebrating in style. Closing the weekend with the brunch allows us to end on a high note, bringing together food, music, and fashion in a way that feels both modern and uniquely Jamaican.”

By highlighting food as a centerpiece of Heroes’ Weekend, the Greatness Pink & White Brunch reinforces Kingston’s place on the map as a rising hub for culinary tourism in the Caribbean and beyond.
