Jamaican recording artist Cashan is making a bold statement with the release of her new album, Here Comes Cashan, a 13-track project that arrived on Friday, showcasing the most versatile body of work of her career to date.

The project debuted at No. 3 on the U.S. iTunes Reggae Albums chart and currently sits at No. 6, a strong showing for the rising Jamaican artiste.

While best known for her dancehall catalogue, Cashan takes a striking turn into conscious reggae throughout much of the album, seamlessly blending the genres while exploring themes of social awareness, love, leadership, resilience, and personal growth.

Opening with the patriotic track “Sweet Jamaica,” the project proudly pays tribute to her homeland before moving through uplifting songs such as “Take It Easy,” alongside “Changes” featuring Yaksta, which tackles leadership and positive transformation, and “On The Way” with Topmann, a heartfelt love song.

The album also boasts standout collaborations with reggae veterans Richie Spice on “Roaring Lion” and Louie Culture on the soulful love ballad “One Of A Kind.”

Produced by Temple Boss Records and co-produced by Monk Records, Here Comes Cashan showcases Cashan's distinctive voice, authentic songwriting, and evolving artistry, with a polished sound that balances roots reggae, dancehall, and modern Caribbean influences.

Born Sabrinia Hamilton in St. Ann and a graduate of Ocho Rios High School, Cashan has been making music for more than a decade. With Here Comes Cashan, she may surprise many listeners by embracing a more conscious reggae direction while showcasing another side of her artistry.
