October belongs to the Unruly Boss, Popcaan, who dominated Dancehall headlines throughout the month with a series of career-defining milestones.

The Dancehall superstar finally secured his long-awaited U.S. visa, marking a major breakthrough in his career and opening the door to new opportunities for performances, collaborations and a stronger presence in one of Dancehall’s most important overseas markets.

Having built a loyal fanbase across the Caribbean, Europe, Canada and beyond, Popcaan now has the opportunity to connect with his American supporters through live performances for the first time.

Following his arrival in the United States, the Unruly Boss made his first public appearances, including a livestream with popular content creator BenDaDonn. The milestone was followed by an appearance at Drake’s lavish 40th birthday celebration in New York on October 24, where Popcaan delivered his first performance on American soil.

The celebration also reunited him with his longtime friend and collaborator Drake, whose OVO Sound label previously signed Popcaan and released his projects Fixtape and Great Is He. Their longstanding friendship and musical partnership have produced several collaborations over the years, strengthening their connection both on and off the stage.

Popcaan also took advantage of his time in the United States to work on new music for his upcoming studio album, including a collaboration with Migos rapper Quavo.

With fans eagerly awaiting the announcement of his first U.S. arena concert and potential American tour dates, Popcaan has been named Kaboom Magazine’s Artist of the Month for October 2026, celebrating a landmark month that marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter in his international career.
