Singer-songwriter Mystic Marley has dropped her latest single, “In Love,” on Friday, October 30, exploring the complexities of romantic relationships through a blend of Jamaican influences, R&B, pop and hip-hop.
The daughter of nine-time Grammy Award winner Stephen Marley and granddaughter of Reggae legend Bob Marley, Mystic draws on personal experiences to capture the passion, vulnerability and emotional highs and lows of love.
“I’ve chosen to put out ‘In Love’ now because it’s a song that I am genuinely passionate about,” Mystic said. “I felt connected to it and just fell in love with it when it was completed, and the process was a vibe, as always.”
The single reflects Mystic’s evolving musical identity. “I’ve been working on my sound and experimenting with different vibes and creating with different people, including Yo Christon as producer and my co-writer- Ayaana Nash, so I think it’s a good place to pick up,” she posited.
Raised between Miami and Los Angeles, Mystic grew up immersed in music, accompanying her father on tour and spending time in recording studios. While rooted in her family's Reggae legacy, she continues to experiment with different genres and creative approaches.
“I would enjoy it if people were open to things not always looking and being the same,” she added. “I’m a very open person. I like to learn and I like to grow, and I do that through experience, through trial and through error.”

Her recent credits include a rendition of Bob Marley’s “Misty Morning” for the Grammy-winning compilation Bob Marley: One Love – Music Inspired by the Film, executive-produced by Stephen Marley. She has also opened for her father on tour and performed at Kaya Fest.
With “In Love,” Mystic offers another glimpse into her developing artistry. “I hope everyone enjoys the music and everyone streams,” she said. “Big up yourselves,” she ended.
