The Miami Heat hosted Caribbean Heritage Night at the Kaseya Center on Tuesday as they welcomed the Phoenix Suns, securing a 127–121 victory on home court.
The celebration blended basketball, culture, and entertainment, featuring Caribbean cuisine and a special in-arena performance from global dancehall superstar Sean Paul, who delivered a short set with some of his iconic hits.
Adding to the atmosphere, Major Lazer member and Jamaican selector Walshy Fire energized the crowd during warm-ups, keeping the vibes high throughout the night.
The event also served a greater purpose, doubling as a fundraiser to support hurricane relief efforts in Jamaica. Local 10’s Jason Carter was courtside and caught up with Sean Paul during the evening; his full report can be viewed at the top of this page.
