Masicka to Drop New EP Her Name Is Love on December 19

Dancehall star Masicka announces his next project, set to release on Dec. 19 via Def Jam and led by “Keys,” while pushing back his next album to 2026.

The EP arrives via Def Jam Recordings, following the October drop of its lead single “Keys,” which recently surpassed one million Spotify streams.

“The ladies always support my work, and I wanted to create something that speaks directly to them… their stories, their strength, their emotions and the energy they bring to the culture. This EP is about connection, emotion and the different forms love can take,” Masicka told Billboard.

Masicka initially intended to release his third studio album this December, following his acclaimed debut 438 and the chart-topping Generation of Kings, his 2023 Def Jam debut that peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart.
