Internationally award-winning and platinum-selling artist Kardinal Offishall returns with “My Brother’s Keeper (Part 2),” a personal new collaboration featuring rising talent NESTA.

A sequel to “My Brother’s Keeper,” released earlier in 2026, the track explores brotherhood, loyalty and shared first-generation Jamaican-Canadian and Jamaican-American experiences, while bridging generations through Kardinal’s veteran artistry and NESTA’s fresh perspective.

Born in Toronto to Jamaican parents, the award-winning artist has spent more than three decades using his music to reflect the immigrant experience, community, and Caribbean pride.

Kardinal describes the track as a blend of foundation reggae and rap, bringing together two generations of Jamaican diaspora talent. “'My Brother’s Keeper Part 2' represents foundation reggae with a splash of rap, brought to you by a 1st generation Jamaican-Canadian and one of the hottest newcomers, who happens to be a first generation Jamaican-American," he shared. “Together, we represent the present and the future of the culture and sound, in one song.”

NESTA also reflected on the significance of working with an artist who influenced him growing up. “Blessed to be a part of this chune with my bro Kardinal after being inspired by him since a youth,” offered NESTA in a social media post.

The duo recently discussed the collaboration and premiered the track during Kardinal Offishall’s Toronto Carnival Takeover of The Ebro Show on Apple Music. The special also featured a strong Caribbean lineup, including Shaggy, Machel Montano, Kes, GBM Nutron, DJ Rennie, Dr. Jay de Soca Prince and Major Lazer’s Walshy Fire.
