Like many young Jamaican youths, music has always been the pathway forward for Jamaican-born rising talent Pharo, who is carving out his own lane with a sound that bridges island roots and Southern trap energy.

Pharo, who was born in Broadleaf, Manchester, spent his formative years moving between Manchester and Kingston, absorbing the culture and rhythm of both communities. Although he migrated to the United States at a young age, his Jamaican foundation remains central to his identity and artistic expression.

“Pharo, like Pharaoh, because I believe we are all gods just in human form,” he shared, explaining the deeper meaning behind his moniker. That philosophy of self-belief and higher purpose shapes both his mindset and his music. Having been involved in music his entire life, Pharo only recently began officially releasing songs, marking a defining chapter in what he describes as a lifelong calling rather than a temporary pursuit. “Music isn’t just something I do - it’s who I am,” he added. “Every track is a reflection of my journey and the places that shaped me.”

Now based near Atlanta, he draws strong influence from the city’s dominant trap scene, blending hard-hitting production with introspective themes and melodic versatility. While trap plays a major role in his musical style, Pharo makes it clear he isn’t confined to one sound. Working closely with producer Richway of Richway Productions, who also serves as his management and label - he continues to balance genres seamlessly on tracks like “Midnight” and “Choose Peace,” showcasing both his grit and introspection.

With Jamaican roots and Southern edge intertwined, the emerging talent is positioning himself as an artiste to watch as he steadily builds momentum on the global stage.
