Jamaica’s women’s 4x100m team won bronze on the final day of the World Relays in Guangzhou, China, clocking 42.33 seconds.

Natasha Morrison replaced Tia Clayton on the lead-off leg, handing over to sprint icon Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce. Tina Clayton ran the third leg in place of her sister, with Shericka Jackson anchoring the team to the podium finish.

Great Britain surged to gold in 42.21 seconds, thanks to a brilliant anchor leg by Success Eduan, who passed three teams in the home stretch. Spain claimed silver with a time of 42.28 seconds, while the United States finished fourth in 42.38.

In the men's 4x100m, Jamaica failed to qualify for the World Championships after Julian Forte sustained an injury during the repechage heat and Olympic silver medalist Kishane Thompson was unable to receive the baton.

Jamaica also secured a silver medal in the inaugural mixed 4x100m final. The team, including Serena Cole, Bryan Levell, Krystal Sloley, and Javari Thomas, clocked 41.04 seconds to finish behind Canada, who won gold in a world-best 40.30 seconds. Great Britain rounded out the podium with 40.88 seconds.
