Island.Wav, the fresh production duo of Keron “KaleX” Alexander and Aundre “RiddimBoss” Edwards, is making a strong entrance with their debut juggling project Sacred — a new roots reggae compilation that blends the smooth soul of seasoned vocalists with the raw energy of emerging talents in the genre.

The Sacred Riddim features a powerful lineup of roots reggae artists, including Ras-I, Chris Malachi, Akina Eman, Imeru Tafari & Haile Celestial, Zhayna, King Izem, Royal Blu, and Indie Allen — each bringing their unique message and melody, adding a sacred touch to the project.

“This project is about preserving the roots while creating something that sounds like now,” shared Island.Wav. “We grew up on jugglings — whether it was Diwali, Seasons, or Show Time — where every song brought a different vibe, even though it was the same riddim. We saw how creative artists could be with lyrics and melodies when given the same foundation. We often wonder why our generation hasn’t done more of that. Sacred is our answer. It’s modern, soulful, and most importantly, our take on reggae.”

All songs on the Sacred Riddim were recorded, mixed, and mastered at the iconic Harry J Recording Studio — the legendary home of reggae’s golden era, now revitalized with fresh creative energy. The juggling is distributed by New York-based DubShot Records, paving the way for international reach with a project that beautifully balances nostalgia and progress.

Hailing from the heart of Jamaica, Island.Wav’s KaleX and RiddimBoss are visionary producers blending the roots of reggae and dancehall with global sounds. Their mission is to push Jamaican music forward while honoring the culture that shaped them.
