Stellar collaborations on Ruger's debut album


The strong connection between Africa and Jamaica once again provides a fruitful bond in the musical field. Rising afrobeat singer, Ruger unveils his debut 17-track album titled 'Ru The World' features collaborations with dancehall star Govana, British Queen of rap, Stefflon Don and rising sensation, Projexx.


The all-afro fusion project showcases Ruger's captivating melodies that immerse listeners in its vibrant and dynamic essence.


Ruger teams up with Govana for the single 'Likely' while both artistes are trading melodies perfectly. Ruger's smooth voice matches with the Spanish town native artiste's hard-hitting lyrics. "Govana is a legendary artiste from Jamaica and he vibed on this immediately. But this collaboration wasn't about tapping in with Jamaica. when you play me a beat or when you play an instrumental to me, it speaks to me. the beat tells me what to do on it.", Ruger explained the connection with Govana.



British rapper Stefflon Don is known for her popular collaborations as she has done several times in the past. 'Don' demonstrates it once again with catchy lyrics on the potential hit single titled "Addiction". She just recently boasted a collaboration with another rising Afro star, Bnxn for 'What's Poppin'.


The Dancehall sensation Projexx is also included in the project as he showcases his unique flow on the sultry single 'Island Girl'.

Ruger has consistently demonstrated his ability to captivate audiences as he is known for singles such as 'Dior', 'Bounce', 'Girlfriend' and his latest hit single 'Asiwaju' which is currently in the top 20 viral hits on Spotify in Africa.


His first project was the EP, 'Pandemic' in 2021, however, this is the first full-length project of the 23-years-old Nigerian sensation.
