Thanksgiving serves as a day for expressing gratitude and extending a helping hand. Jenelle Alexia, the founder of A’Legends brand and the driving force behind the ALGS Helping Hands Foundation, has joined forces with Shana’s Caribbean Cafe to orchestrate a canned food drive for a special Thanksgiving Caribbean meal giveaway at their restaurant in Philadelphia this Thanksgiving Day.

On Thursday, November 23, 2023, an anticipated 300 individuals in need will gather at the restaurant, with hopes of turning this into an annual tradition. City officials, recognizing the importance of this noble cause, are providing their support alongside Jenelle Alexia, who has harbored the desire to organize a charitable event for several years. The pandemic had previously delayed her plans, but now, it's finally becoming a reality, and Jenelle Alexia couldn't be more delighted.

Shana Davis, the restaurant's proprietor, is the sister of Andrew Davis, a Dancehall superstar who also known as Flippa Moggela and who has recently been released and is reclaiming his place in the music industry. When Jenelle Alexia proposed this initiative to the Davis family, they eagerly embraced it, as it aligns with their long-standing interest in giving back to the community.

For those interested in contributing canned goods, please ensure they are donated by November 14 to allow ample time for sorting and preparation. Additionally, the organizers kindly request that all donations be non-expired items. We encourage you to extend your hand in support of this wonderful charity.
