Cardi B will no longer headline BZR WKND
Grammy-winning rapper Cardi B has officially pulled out of BZR WKND Jamaica, where she was scheduled to headline at Kingston’s National Stadium on October 18.
Her representatives confirmed the cancellation on Thursday (October 8). “Cardi appreciates the love and support from her fans in Jamaica and hopes to see them in the future,” the statement read, directing fans to event organizers for updates on the festival and ticketing.
The performance would have marked Cardi B’s first time headlining a Caribbean stadium, with an estimated crowd of 50,000 expected for the event.
The four-day festival, scheduled for October 16–19, also announced Keyshia Cole, Spice, Ding Dong, Malie Donn and several other Jamaican acts.
No reason was given for the cancellation, while disappointed fans have taken to social media demanding full refunds following the rapper’s withdrawal from the lineup.
