BZR WKND Jamaica postponed to December 20

Organizers of BZR WKND Jamaica 2026 have announced that the highly anticipated festival, originally scheduled for October 18 at the National Stadium in Kingston, has been postponed to December 20, 2026, following Cardi B’s withdrawal from the event.

In an official statement, the organizers extended their heartfelt condolences to the Grammy-winning rapper and her family following the passing of a loved one, while explaining that circumstances beyond their control had led to the postponement.

The team also maintained that they had fulfilled their financial obligations and honored all contractual commitments in their efforts to deliver the promised experience. “We have made every effort to deliver the experience promised to our patrons,” the organizers stated, reaffirming their commitment to producing a world-class event in Jamaica. “We understand the disappointment this news may bring, especially to those who have purchased tickets, made travel arrangements, booked accommodations, and eagerly anticipated this experience. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and deeply appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued support,” the organizers stated.

Acknowledging the disappointment among ticket holders, particularly those who had already made travel and accommodation arrangements, the organizers apologized for the inconvenience and assured supporters that the additional time would be used to deliver an even bigger, star-studded experience.

“One thing is certain: We will not let you down. A show will happen! Our vision has always been bigger than one artist,” the statement continued.

The organizers emphasized that BZR WKND remains focused on bringing world-class entertainment, music and culture to Jamaica, promising an unforgettable festival experience for fans across the Caribbean.

A press conference is also scheduled for later this week to address outstanding questions and provide further details about the rescheduled event and what patrons can expect.
